Step by step: claiming the jackpot<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

  1. Guard your ticket like treasure.<\/strong> It must be physical, intact and undamaged (if you played online, print the receipt). The Baloto ticket is a bearer instrument \u2014 no ticket, no prize.<\/li>\n
  2. Sign the back of it.<\/strong> Not mandatory, but it protects your prize if the ticket is lost or stolen.<\/li>\n
  3. Contact Fiduciaria de Occidente<\/strong>, Baloto’s official paying entity, to schedule an appointment. It has authorized offices in Bogot\u00e1, Cali, Medell\u00edn, Barranquilla and Bucaramanga only.<\/li>\n
  4. Bring a valid ID<\/strong> (c\u00e9dula, foreign ID or passport) and fill out the prize payment form.<\/li>\n
  5. Verification and payment.<\/strong> The fiduciary validates the ticket’s authenticity and pays by cashier’s check or bank transfer. It is not instant cash: between the appointment, verification and disbursement, several days go by.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    Mind the deadline:<\/strong> you have a maximum of 365 days<\/strong> from the draw date to claim. After that, the prize is forfeited to Colombia’s health sector.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    What about smaller prizes?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

    Smaller prizes (up to 182 UVT, roughly $7.7 million pesos in 2026) are paid directly at the point of sale. Only large prizes go through the fiduciary.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
